How to cook
- Step 1: Bring water to the boil (note: use more than twice as much water as the weight of pasta to be cooked)
- Step 2: Once the water is boiling, add 1 small teaspoon of salt and stir until the salt has dissolved evenly
- Step 3: Add the pasta and spread it evenly around the pot (note: do not press, compress or break the pasta from the time you take it out until you put it into the boiling water)
- Step 4: After about 3 minutes, gently stir the pasta clockwise with chopsticks so it cooks evenly and does not stick together (note: check the cooking time printed on the manufacturer's packaging)
- Step 5: Once the pasta is cooked, rinse it under cold water to cool it, then remove immediately and drain. This firms up the pasta and gives it a chewier, better texture (note: do not leave the pasta in cold water for too long)
- Step 6: Toss the pasta with a little cooking oil so it does not stick together.
- Step 7: Prepare as you like (Note: It tastes better when cooked with Paprichi tomato sauce or puréed tomato paste.)
- Step 8: Plate and enjoy.
